Does anyone how to download the non-navigable maps ( http://europe.nokia.com/A4513026 ) to the Nokia map application on the n95? (The map loader only displays the navigable counties.)
I am aware of the lack of route planning etc but it is still useful whilst travelling around countries with less that perfect signage etc

i want to know the exact same thing bro! Belize is not listed and my phone should be here any day now! its covered by smart2go just not navigable! i still want my map! i think its gonna probably have to be downloaded over air, which is sad cuz that process is really really slow! i hope someone else chimes in and help us out!

I had a reply back from Nokia Customer Services ...
"With regard to your email, if maps are not available to download from Nokia Maploader, then it is required that you download these maps directly from your mobile phone using a data connection (GPRS/WLAN). You can do this by switching on the network feature for Nokia Maps on your mobile phone. To do so, kindly refer to the following steps:
Menu > Maps > Options > Settings > Network > User network > When needed.
Please note that data connection charges do apply. For more information regarding the charges, please refer to your service provider.
Once this is done, you can proceed to zoom in to the country in question on the globe in your Nokia Maps application."
hey glad you sent that email man, i figured that's what we had to do! where do you live? or which country did you want map data for? im belize, i noticed mine started to download but at that rate it will take days not hrs to complete! Mines start off in bytes then k/b then mb! and only god knows how big the data is!

Hi all! I'm haveing the same problem. I'm in Uruguay (Latin AMreica) and Nokia does not support maps for my country :mad: .. so I just can use the "Non-navigable maps" .. but I can not downlad them...
May be I'm wrong and I don't get the idea of them, what I believe is that if I can download my country map I can use it as a "static" map, right? I would not need to be online to find streets or places.... does anyone know how to get this maps downloaded? (I've just tried swalwell recommendations but I can not make it work)
