I am considering getting the data pack on my monthly contract.
7.50 for 120 meg a month is really mean in my opinion but i don't seem to have much choice, cos vodafone is the only network that gets a signal where i work so i had go with them.
i also see that they don't roll over any unused data, thus making me nervous about going over the limit and paying through the nose for extra usage.
so i have a few questions that hopefully someone will know answers to.
firstly, are vodafone likely to introduce more generous data tariffs in the near future? and if they do will i be able to switch to them? or if they simple increase the limit up from 120 meg, will i automatically get the extra data, or just new customers?
are they likely to introduce rolling over unused data to the next month, because this would probably make the difference between me using them or not.
finally is it possible to track my current data usage so that i can get close to my limit without risking going over it? i am a new vodafone customer and my online billing only just started working, but today i see that it only seems to show what i got up to in september, it shows nothing about what i've done in october.
seems to me vodafone have pitched the 120 meg limit to be just on the border of what a light to medium user could use in a month, and so they can pick up a few profitable extra data charges :( don;t like sneaky stuff like that.
