I ordered an E65 from the three store website. Now as for cancellation. It basically says I can't even put the sim in and try the network coverage or test anything whatsoever without being totally bound to not be able to return the thing under the 14 days. I was under the impression that I could try the thing and if I find it to be crap for which three at least used to be. I could return it. Obviously if I had used airtime I would have to pay for this. I'm too scared to try the thing as i don't want to get locked in just for a test call or something. I'm highly confused.
Anyone able to shed some light on this for me...
One e65 gathering dust..

You can use the phone and still return it. As long as its not damaged etc. Three dont check to see if you switch the phone on. Policy is just to scare customers to limit the amount of returns.
3's returns policy has changed recently. basically you can look at the phone and not use it.
If you make / receive a call text or take a picture the phone is yours and you are bound by the contract.
