K850i 3G SIM Card

Just ordered a new K850i from O2. Its an upgrade and I've been with them a while so my existing SIM card is quite old and not a 3G one.

Do I need a new (3G) SIM card to be able to get 3G download speeds, etc?

Woman on the phone said no when I asked as I was ordering, but I've heard you do...

As your sim is out of a 2G phone and is quite old you will need a new sim to get 3G services. If you don't get one with your new phone all you will need to do is ring c/s and they should send you a replacement 3G sim.

Once you get the 3G sim you will need to call c/s to de-activate your old sim and activate the new one.
