Hi!

I have the K800i with the Internet Max Add on,... and since Monday I can no longer access any email on the K800's internal email client. Customer support is totally useless and explaining to me some days that it should work, and other days that I would need another add-on for this (though it worked previously). Could anyone help, please?

I read somewhere else on this forum that people were having similar problems.
Getting CS to remove and then re-add the Add On seemed to cure their problem

Thank you so much Dave! After fussing for three days with CS and being told all kind of rubbish :rolleyes: this actually solved the problem within an hour!

i'm having exactly the same problem on the nokia n95 with the internet max addon. Reckon i should give this a try? Will they be able to remove and readd the addon in the same call or is it best just phoneing up to cancel it and then phoneing in again to add it?

I did it all in one call, though it took a lot of persuasion to get them to do it! They must be on some sort of commission for pushing Mobile Mail or Broadband add-ons ;)

thats the thing, tech support told me i would need the email addon even though i already had internet max, they put me through to CS to sign up for it. CS went through the motions and then told me that i didn't need it because i already had the internet max addon!

I've got a very similar issue, I am not always able to connect to my pop3 server. I know it's alive, and fully working as I host it myself. It's got 90% uptime for the last year, this last week or so I've not always been able to connect to it. Everytime I check the server it's working fine and I'm able to connect to it via other means (works pc).

Just called up Tech Support and got the run arround, I had internet max on my account. Just got that removed and put onto silver x series (as that's what I ordered when I originally called up). Hopeing this change will sort it out, if it doesn;t atleast tech support will recognise my package supports it as I've just been fobbed off with no email on internet max.

I hate call centres!

Edit -

Moving over to X-series Silver from internet Max seems to have fixed the problem... It's now working. I'm a happy chappy!
