Hi,

I am looking for some help with picture messaging. I am in a new contract with O2, using a new Nokia N95.

When I try to send a picture message the phone will attempt to send it then after about a minute will come back with the following error "Unable to send message!" and when I go into the details of the error it just says "User barred!".

I have called O2 customer support and first of all they sent me a couple of configuration texts to install which I did but made no differance.

Then I tried a friends O2 SIM card in my N95 and was able to send a MMS without a problem so I don't think the phone is faulty.

O2 have now sent me a replaced SIM card which has now been activated and the WAP & MMS settings checked, however I still cannot send a MMS text and get the same error.

Anyone any ideas on what could be wrong?

Cheers

Brian

Have they double checked your account settings... I had a similar problem once lasted about 4 days till the guy phoned up and said they had changed some settings on my account... Dont rely on the front ling guys.. ask for 2nd line data support to check.

Darko, thanks very much, you've just saved me a huge hassle.

I spoke to O2 CS this afternoon who told me I needed a new SIM, and after reading this I phoned them back and quoted it. The guy then had a look at my account and apparently my MMS "isn't provisioned"!.

He'll sort it tomorrow, and job done.

Thank you! :)
