What's the best unlimited 3G option in the UK?

I'm in the UK and my t-mobile contract is about to expire and I'm now looking for an upgrade. I can move to any a provider, but here's what I'm after:

-WM6 handset with 3g
-unlimited data plan
-ability to use the mobile as a 3g modem for my laptop
-ability to use voip either on handset or laptop

I've looked at the three x-series, but that doesn't have any WM6 handsets and doesn't allow laptop use.

It looks like t-mobile's web-and-walk max is the only real option, but that's £50 a month! :squareeye

I'm wondering if anyone else has heard of any good deals that involve unlimited data (within reason) and allow laptop use.

They don't make it easy... :tired:

3 are looking to launch Windows Mobile devices. However none of the networks allow you to use your handset as a modem with their data packages.

If your contract with T-Mobile is just about to end it should put you in a good postion to try and get some discount of you line rental/W&W add on. Tell them that you would like the W&W Max but not at that price and see what they can do.

Yeah, but I'm covering my own arse here! I've used mine as a modem, but I'm not going to go about recommending it to people when they may end up with a huge bill.

No network will officially allow their handset data allowance to be used as a laptop modem. I'm afraid the only option you would have, without breaking any terms and conditions, would be to get something along the lines of 3's wireless modem in addition to your mobile.

Calm down a bit mate. :D You get apparently a text when you hit the fair useage limit. Granted I have never managed to hit the limit and that is using it approx 1 - 2 hours a day surfing off my XDA Exec and when my broadband was down using the laptop.
