There are VNC clients around, like SymVNC:

The author says that Symbian has released a version of VNC:

You'd want 'VNC Viewer S60 1.2 .SIS' from that; you would probably have to install 'P.I.P.S. S60 .SIS' beforehand.
There are several freely available VNC servers that you could run on a desktop and then connect to with a mobile client.
