Hello all. I am new to this forum and very new to the N95 (its my first new mobile for about 4years :eek: My problem is this:

Whenever I make some video footage and try to send it to a friend via Multimedia Message I keep getting this message:

"Unable to insert object. Maximum message is 300 kb."

Do I need to compress it before sending it on somehow? Some of the footage is only 5 seconds long. This was one of the main reasons I bought the phone because of the picture quality but now it seems I cant even use it for that.
Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks in advance.

Probably you recorded in MP4-format; than the file will be very big to send via MMS!

If you want to send a video via MMS, use the 3gp-format . . .

Do I have to change a setting on my phone to make it 3gp format? If so how do I do that?

Go to settings, you can change it from there. To be honest though you would have make it QCIF to have it small enough for MMS. Thats really small and low quality, your better off bluetoothing it to him....

=======

in settings it gives you a choice of quality video you want to make....if its high quality its for copying back to dvd use.. but it will not send via mms..
you have to make a low quality video to send as mms
