T-mobile hotspots?

Was browsing though the account pages on t-mobile and noticed the following.

Price Plan
Web'n'walk Plus (12 months)

Services you currently have:
Remove Content Lock Free
Video Calling Free
UK Hotspot 100% discount Free

Does this mean I get to use T-mobile wi-fi hotspots free?
If so What would the login be?

I have no idea what the password would be either, I didn't even know I had it until I looked at the my account section of the t-mobile site.

Well, I think it's like 447xxxxxx@t-mobile.co.uk just the same as if you text OPEN to 9526 for the PAGY wifi billed to your account (see http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/services/mobile-internet/hotspot/costs/).

I'd suggest you phone customer services on 150 though.

Thank you for your email regarding Hotspot. With your price plan you do get Unlimited access the the T-Mobile Hotspot service in the UK.

You will also receive 300 minutes per month of roaming on BT Openzone and T-Mobile Hotspot sites across Europe and USA.

I have arranged for your username and password to be emailed to this address.

if it is contact t-mobile for the login info.
Don't recall ever being told about that when I signed up to t-mobile, you'd think they'd want to use it as a selling point :eek:

Thank you for your email about hotspot charges.

I'm happy to say you are receiving the hotspot service free of charge. In order for you to be able to access the hotspot we must provision your account with the £8.51 (plus vat) hotspot service. Without this your username and password would not work.

The 100% hotspot discount service then provides a credit of £8.51 (plus vat) onto your account each month. This effectively cancels out the charge and give you your free access.

I hope that clears things up for you, if you have any further queries please don't hesitate to contact us again.

Looks like I need to keep an eye on my bill then.

Interesting thing is when you look on t-mobiles site it doesn't mention anything about the 300minutes being usable in Europe and the USA is that something new?

Update Just seen my bill and can confirm they have indeed given me the hotspots free :D

Not actually used one yet though :eek:
