Hello all,
I have a contract with vodafone from 4th of June 2007 with the Unlimited data plan (3G USB Modem) for a year.
On 2nd of July they changed the tarrif to £25 and from 1GB to 3GB..
My last bill is £ 400
I asked customer service and they said its though data changes, i am trying to see my detail bill online and the website never works...half of each day i am working so i am not using the internet so i am wondering how this happened..
does any of you have this old tarrif ?

There were problems with data billing during July which may account for why your bill is higher than it should be. If this is the case the incorrect charges will be credited back to you. We can look into it for you, and also print a copy bill for the month, but in order to do so we will need you to get in touch.
If you use the Online Contact Form (https://online.vodafone.co.uk/dispatch/Portal/appmanager/vodafone/wrp?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=Page_Help_ContactUs&pageID=PCU_0002) on the Vodafone website to send an email, including FIT135 anywhere in the body of the text it will be picked up by either myself or one of my colleagues. Once we have that we'll be happy to look into what the problem is for you.

they replied to me:
Although the Data pack is unlimited, there is a fair usage policy in place of 3gb download as explained in the terms and conditions which are also shown on our website, www.vodafone.co.uk.
On the 04th June 2007 you took out your contract. This was for a minimum commitment length of 12 months which isn’t due to run out until the 07th June 2008.
When you cancel your account early, you need to pay an early cancellation fee. This is the remaining line rental charges on the account. In this circumstance, the fee would be approximately £340.92(excluding VAT as the fee doesn’t include this and also excluding any balance on your account).

Why they call it Unlimited if its only 3gb ?
Nobody told me that and my packet doesnt exist now and in the terms and conditions i have it doesn't say it

Be grateful - Vodafone deducted over £1800 from my bank account for August and the bill for September is over £900. I was being charged £3 for each web page visited using a data card - on 2G with occasional dips into 3G. My advice is to cancel all direct debits to Vodafone. Their billing is in chaos just now and until they get it sorted anything can be debited from your bank account and getting it fixed is a nightmare.

If you use the instructions further up in the thread to send us an email, either myself or a colleague will look into it for you, and hopefully resolve it.
