Ok, I have a problem and I am really hoping someone on here can help! I use predictive texting and on the whole it's good. BUT, certain words when typed have decided to default as words I must have typed in the past. For example, got comes up as HMV :S
Anyone know how to reset the user dictionary/remembered words? Can't find it anywhere.
Hopefully someone in this forum will be able to help!
Cheers
Daniel
I also posted this in the N95 thread, but no solution has been offered :(

Hi,
I am not sure but back up your data and try reset(on settings-reset to manufacturer status). It may help...

It has taken me ages but I've cracked it. Type the word in you want for example "Mum". Nun is the default word. Press the # key until it says spell. Press the left hot key then spell "Mum". Press the middle big button on the Navi pad NOT the OK button. This will save it as the new default.
I hope this helps.

to reset predictive text onstall a file manager app such as Y-browser, go into the phones C:\ drive and delete the file within the folder called predic.

Just to update this, the above didn't work for me (on generic V20), but deleting the file in predic did. Bloody annoying though, my "you" started defaulting to "yot" for some reason, which isnt even a word!
