If I hold the camera vertically whilst using the video camera, the image in gallery is always horizontal. Thus when I copy to my pc the picture is sideways. Is there a way of rotating the image so it permananty sets to vertical or do all videos have to be taken the other way anyway?

The phone is designed to record videos with the phone held horizontally. I don't know of any settings to change the way the video is recorded
