O2 is expected to announce tomorrow that it has edged out Vodafone in the battle to secure exclusive network rights for the iPhone, according to reports.

It is believed that O2 has agreed to pay Apple a massive 40% of revenue it generates from customers' use of the gadget, and that it will give a further cut to The Carphone Warehouse, who has been named the sole independent retailer as part of the deal.

Thats a bloody disgrace! I wouldnt touch CPW with yours! I hate the sales people in CPW and refuse to buy anything from them I suppose it could be worse phones 4 u could have got it! Well thats made my decisio easier anyway I wasnt sure if I should wait and get a UK iphone or get one in 2 weeks from the states. For £200 from the states and no contract (will get it unlocked) it makes sense to get an American one!!!
