O2 is expected to announce tomorrow that it has edged out Vodafone in the battle to secure exclusive network rights for the iPhone, according to reports.
It is believed that O2 has agreed to pay Apple a massive 40% of revenue it generates from customers' use of the gadget, and that it will give a further cut to The Carphone Warehouse, who has been named the sole independent retailer as part of the deal.
