Hi, can someone please help me, I’ve had my N95 for 5 months on a Vodafone contract, I’ve installed and removed different software demos and games but in the last month I’ve noticed my phone sending packet data without me using it, while the phone is sitting there in power saver mode it will light up for a second that’s when It has usually sent data, the last week I have reset the counter to 0 daily and keep checking it and some days it has sent up to 0.5mb, I’ve uninstalled any software I thought my be doing it through application manager but its still doing it, I’ve got the packet data settings set to When Needed, Internet and Enabled, I must admit I’ve never noticed this before and don’t know if the N95 should do this can someone help, thanks.

Also how do I remove some themes off my phone I’ve been into application manager and removed some but a few do not show up in there I’ve also tried pressing the C button in themes but nothing happens any ideas? Cheers.

Have you received and MMS messages? This would account for the phone automatically connecting to download the message content.

Hi, no I've not been receiving or sending any MMS messages for the last week that’s how I’ve noticed my phone doing this.

This is going to sound repetitive from me. ;)

Do a hard reset *#7370# (default code 12345). Backup what you need first. This formats everything...

Set the default access point to none, and see if that sorts it

Menu => Tools => Settings => Connection => Packet Data

Thanks for the replies, Richard G my thoughts exactly, I’ve taken off all the software I can now so if that don’t work I’ll do a reset and just put back the contacts and map data, O yes and Quake :) cheers.
