My mum's account which is in my name is in its last month and she's on Flext 35 18 month contract, just checked out her upgrade offers and all she can have for free is SE D750i, Samsung E370 and MOTOSLVR or £10 off her line rental if she stays with her current phone.
If i upgrade her to Nokia N73 it will cost £129.99 or N95 £299
That really sucks considering she's on a £35 per month tariff...
Think its time to ask for her PAC code

Was that a online offer or did you speak to someone in the upgrades dept ? My parents online offers were poor but I spoke ot the upgrades dept yesterday for them and managed to get a very good deal and a N95 for £10.00. If you dont have any luck with the upgrades dept they might offer you a better deal if you say you are going to leave. It depends on how much you spend each month and what if any new price plan you are going on to.

Ring them up or go to your t-mobile shop.

the shop dont give u the max discount as it effects the staff's commission unless you ring rententions first then go to the store

Contacted retentions to see what they can offer, i asked after the new SE K850i, got told not out yet but will probably be £100 for upgrade, next i tried N95 and got told £190..
I think these prices are terrible on a £35 tariff, asked for my pac code and not offered anything different to stay!!!
Can get the N95 for free on Three at £27 per month, told this to T-Mobile retentions and was told sorry but the offers we offer you are the best we can do..

Hey, Best Thing to do is to give you 30 days notice and check out other networks! The Best deals out at mo are on 3 and 02 depending on what you want.
You are probs a customer that doesnt go over the bill which is probs y your phone upgrade is only £100

I have the same problem with T-Mobile.
Contract expires on 25/10 and the online upgrade prices are ridiculous. I emailed to ask for better prices and they basically said tough luck. This also happened with a work colleague who has now gone to 3 and I will be following him shortly.

i spoke to retentions last night, the k850i is available on a upgrade with t-mobile, but you have to go to a carphonewarehouse store to do it, as they are the only one's who have it in stock at the moment. it will cost £60 for the upgrade.
i upgraded 2 of my lines and got the mda touch and samsung g600, both for free, both lines are on u-fix tariffs.

I upgraded to the K850i for free at CPW and I am on Ufix £15 I was suprised it was free but its probs as I have gone over quite a bit on my other lines both on Flext 50 and Flext 35 as my Ufix is seen as the weaker line as my dad uses it just to make quick call home!

Think it all depends on the mood of the advisor taking your call on what upgrade offer you get given, hit them on a shift change or a friday when they want to escape to the pub :p
