My volume button (up) is broken

Just noticed today my volume up button is up knackered... Took it into a O2 store the guy took the back cover off and it looks like teh microswitch is nearly off the motherboard. Guy puts it back together and says it may not be covered under warranty.... Yeah right!
Anyway have to take it to the local Nokia S/C and see what they say... Anyone else had this problem?

Funny you mentioned this, it happened to mine as well 3 days ago. Hopefully the insurance I took out will cover it.

This happened to mines a couple weeks back. Took it into a Service Center and they sent it away to be fixed with no questions asked.
