Vodafone has followed Orange and T-Mobile by introducing 'unlimited' into its mid-range tariffs.
The network is offering customers on contracts of £40 or higher a choice between unlimited calls to landlines in the UK, or unlimited text messages.
The deal appears to be an attempt to rival Orange's 'unlimited' offers, which were brought back to the independent channel at the start of this month after only being available through Orange's direct channels. Under its Dolphin and Canary tariffs, Orange is offering unlimited calls or texts at £35 per month – £5 less than Vodafone.
