Hi all, apologies if this is in the wrong place but since it covers about 4 of of the different topics on the forum I couldn't decide where to put it.....

Basically, I'm due for an upgrade with o2 (im in month 17 of 18) and rang up yesterday to discuss upgrading to the P1. All sounded good until I asked about their data packages - which after reading this forum, I'm in agreement that they are lame. 20Mb for £10 p/m is ridiculous considering what tmobile and 3 are offering.

So here's my dilemma - I really like the look of the P1, but neither tmobile or 3 do it. And i already get caned for data usage on my current o2 contract so basically need to change providers as o2 arent going to shift their asses.

What I plan to do is this - get an N95 on 3 or tmobile (probably the flext 35 with web&walk) or something similar on 3, and then sell the handset on ebay. Then buy a P1 from Hong Kong through ebay (seems legit to me): http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150157732501 and put my tmobile/3 sim in there. After I've sold my existing handset it should end up costing me in the region of £100 but I think thats worth it.

Firstly - would this work? Secondly - which would you recommend (3 or tmobile)? and lastly....does anyone know if tmobile or 3 are likely to release the p1? as im willing to hold on for a while, but no longer than 2 months really.

I dont really fancy the N95 due its poor battery life, and Im a bit of an anti nokia person, and a self confessed SE fan.....

Apologies for length....my gf never complains tho :)
