View Full Version : 3 - 3G network problems?

I had all my calls go into voicemail this morning from about 9am - 10am in GU32 postcode on the 3G network. Now my phone has roamed onto Orange and won't get a 3G signal at all (in a 5-bar 3G area) but calls are getting through. It is intermittently jumping back to 3G but no calls when it does.

Hi there, my story too is horrific! I originally left my previous provider due to poor coverage/reception. Went to 3 and problems for past month. So bad this week no coverage at all. Phoned customer support, advisor got my 3 mobile number wrong 5 times. Previous night phoned tech support and was treated like a moron. Got really annoyed at operator constantly getting my number wrong. Dreadful communication problems between me and 3 customer service operator. Kept being told my phone (no problems using other sims) Went to 3 shop, great people, told me there is no 3g reception in my area and guess what the backup people are now the provider I left originally. Phoned 3 again today. Kept getting my number wrong (twice this time) and complete denial etc etc of network reception problems. Got really annoyed when told if I end my contract I would have to pay a fee. Told them to take me to court etc as in my book I had not been notified my backup provider would change and no reception at all now (had bought a Sony Ericcson in the 3 shop as was told reception was good on that phone - took it back and shop people great about refund etc) I really feel that this is fraud of a kind. No warning of Orange instead of 02 being new provider. Constant problems for a month, no calls for past 2 days at all and learning I don't even have 3g in this area! My problem. I need my phone to ring/receive calls from my elderly disabled mum at a moments notice if she falls (prone to) Was told both today and yesterday that the 3 customer service operators would get back to me within 2 hours and nothing has happenned. Being fobbed off and lies lies lies. I will not pay another penny to 3. Let them take me to court, bring it on and blacklist me and I will make sure my MP, all the locals in my area and all possible actions will be taken by me to let as many people know as possible how disgusting these people behave towards consumers. Bring it on. This is the worst experience I have had as a customer in my whole life and I think I have a right to be annoyed by this. If anyone can offer any advise or an address to complain officially to please could you post it to me as I can't find anything on the website. My MP next. Regards, Jobielad:mad:
