View Full Version : How Much Do I Love 3 Customer Services !

MY nokia n73 has been playing up , it froze and was sent back to 3 ,it came back with the camera buttons not working ,it went back and came back still not working..
i just phoned 3repair centre who put there card in with the repair and told them the reapair was no good ,the guy said lets try a ractory reset..that did not cure the camera..then he said to be honest i dont work for 3 and there proberly is a way to fix it,but i dont no..!! he said phone your local 3 store and get them to give you a loan phone whilst they repair yours...
i phoned my local 3 store and said do you have a loan phone..the assistant told me that all there loan phones are rubbish and i would be better phoning india !!!
I WENT ONE BETTER......I PHONED EXECUTIVE HEAD OFFICE...
when i recounted my experiences and gave her the name of all the people i had spoken to along the way....she appologised she was shocked..
AND
WOULD I LIKE THE NOKIA N95 DELIVERED TO MY HOME ON MONDAY AS AN APPOLLOGY.....SAME CONTRACT PRICE AND PACKAGE AS MY N73
......HELL YES WAS MY REPLY.....:D

have fun with the N95 it's not that good a phone!

You would have been better getting free line rental for a year or something!!

Ohh and i bet you just locked yourself into another 18 month contract too!!!

no my contract and package stays the same , no change ...
my n73 was a good phone but of late was giving me stress.. like any smartphone i expect the n95 to give me some stress...
as for free line rental , i have a nokia n80 that my wife uses i got the free line rental-year for that ,but fancy a look at the n95 and it was a very nice gesture by customer service

If i was you once you receive the phone don't open it, give cs a call and ask them when your contract expires!

interesting...my N73's 2ndary camera has recently started showing blue lines all on the screen when its activated, do you think that would be a sufficient problem to ask for a repair? i dont want a free n95 upgrade or anything, but my contract runs out in 2 months, so i will probably sell the n73 so want it to be problem free...

ok cool...but i unbranded the n73 months ago...if i did sent it in and they saw no sign of any 3 stuff on the phone, would that 'void' the warranty?

If you unbranded the handset do not send it back to three for repair!

Take it to a Nokia service centre, and if they ask who debranded it then say you took it to a Nokia service centre and they did it for you for free!

A Nokia service centre will repair the handset if it's under warranty 99% of the time!!

HOW ON EARTH DID YOU GET THROUGH TO EXEC HEAD OFFICE?

I've been trying to for ever, and because I have no reference they just switch me to CS located in India - which is annoying, because however polite they are, they can't do anything for me.

will probably wait until i upgrade as i dont have another phone to put my SIM in if it has to be sent off
