N73 Screen and Keypad illumination

Hi. My N73 was dropped in a bowl of water. After drying it out and turning it back on everything works but the illumination to the screen and keypad. I'm not bothered about the keypad but was wondering if it was possible to get the screen back light fixed or fix it myself.

Any help would be appreciated. Cheers Prof1974
