Ok, I've mentioned this problem before but didn't get an answer so i'll ask again in a thread dedicated to it.
When I use Nokia's music transfer program I can't locate 'my music' folder on Windows using Nokia's software. I haven't a clue why.

Could it be because that's where your music is?

I must admit I dont use Nokia's own program. Link your N95 as a music player and use windows media player. Works a treat.

Isnt that supposed to happen as thats where your music would normally be stored?

Ah what an idiot! I have made a major mistake. Let me rephrase that question so I get the response I want:
I use Nokia's Music Transfer program to randomly send files to my N95. It gives you the option to choose your music directory on your PC where you MP3's are kept. When I browse my PC through Nokia Music Transfer I CANNOT locate 'My Music' folder (The default Windows music folder).

So you don't get a view like this one? Can you see all your other folders?
If you copy some music files into a new folder can you then browse to that one?

I get that same dialogue box, without the 'My Music' folder. I have to use my download music folder instead (which contains newly downloaded tracks) but i'd ideally like to use 'My Music'. I cannot understand why it can't see it, it makes no sense!

No, it doesn't make any sense at all!
Can you check the properties of the My Music folder and see if it's Hidden? You have full administrative permissions on the PC, yes? Was PC Suite installed under an Admin or Admin-equivalent account?
It's a tick-box somewhere, I'll bet.

I'm an admin yes, I pwn this PC. I unchecked 'read only' on the 'My music' folder. I'll check to see if it works next time I transfer tracks, and report back.
