Hi

Got a new N95. Good so far.

Got it as an upgrade from O2. Came with free UK mapping.

For some reason I downloaded Nokia maps again onto the phone (From Nokia). As soon as I did this I lost the UK mapping.

I have managed to download the maps again (using Nokia map loader).

Looking at my memory I suspect that they have been downloaded to a different file. Basically I think I might have them in 2 locations.

Has any one any info that could help

Cheersd

Andy

Hi Andy

Try using the option in Nokia Map Loader to delete the existing maps on the N95, before you download the UK maps again.

Hope this helps!

You get a 3 day free trial of the voice navigation, after that it costs.

Yes, looks like it, on trying it here on my phone. Best to have a WLAN connection unless you have a very good data package deal on the phone's contract.

The cost for a 3-year licence for UK/Ireland is £47.05, 1-year is £40.33, 30-days is £5.37 and 7-days is £4.36.

There is also voice navigation for Euro countries/regions and pretty much everywhere else so if you were off on holiday there you could just get the licence for the place you are visiting.

You might need the WLAN network security key from your network support people to enable you to connect to the office WLAN.

And no, you are NOT charged by VF for using the WLAN. They have no knowledge of it. You can even take the SIM out of the phone and use WLAN to test this.

Make sure your office WLAN has a defined access point in the Connections options and set the access option to "always ask" so you can choose that one for browsing.
