N95 does not play more than 30 minutes of video

Hi, I have a number of avi copies of Greys Anatomy and CSI that I have converted with the Nokia movie manager. The problem I have is that when watching them on the phone the video freezes after 35 mintues but the audion keeps playing. Any assistance will be appreciated

ok thats the latest version. Maybe try using another converter like WinAVI or Total Video Converter?

convert the avi to divx install a divx player and see how it fairs with that.

I have come across a similar issue. Trying to fast forward a movie past 35 mins proves very difficult as it will suddenly skip to the end. It'll play OK but if you want to fast forward past 35 mins you have to nudge it in 15 - 30 second steps and if you get tempted to over do it it's gone to the end.
Any suggestions as to a good alternative to Real Player?

I've just checked, and divx player works perfectly. Plays a movie until the end and lets you skip as far as you like without any audio sync problems.

It may be worth noting that you'll be best off closing any other open apps on your phone before watching a video.
