From looking at other threads this seems to be a common problem with vodafone. I have been a vodafone customer for 18 months and am just coming up to the end of the contract. This week I have been contacted by a chap at the vodafone retention centre to upgrade my deal. I was surprised by the arrogrance, rudeness and bullying tactics imposed on me. He informed me half way through the call that it was being recorded (surely this should have been said at the start of the call) and didn't once ask whether it was a convenient time. I am currently paying £25 per month with 200 mins, 250 text and stop the clock, the chap offered me 12 month contract with 6 mths 1/2 price, the same mins/texts/stc as above and a new phone. He agreed to call me back a day later, as at the time I was in work but no further calls were received. I went into the vodafone shop on the weekend where I discovered he had entered the deal on to my account and had changed it to 18 mths contract. As far as I'm concerned I had NOT agreed to anything and he had lyed down the phone to me with regards to the offer!! The shop has informed me the department wouldn't be able to offer me this deal anyway!
Surely they can't say one thing and do another? I think the complaints departments should start listening to these peoples recordings. How do I now go about complaing and getting what was originally offered to me?

Hi Jasmin100

Working for Vodafone, I'm very sorry to read how you were treated by the sales advisor.

I'd be more than happy to forward your complaint onto the advisors manager, and if needed, adjust your account back to what it should be, but in order to so you'll need to get into touch with us. If you use the Online Contact Form (https://online.vodafone.co.uk/dispatch/Portal/appmanager/vodafone/wrp?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=Page_Help_ContactUs&pageID=PCU_0002) on the Vodafone website to send us an email, putting FIT135 in the body of the text, your email will be picked up by either myself or one of my colleagues. We'll then be able to take the appropriate action for you
