Hi

I'm posting on here as I am having no joy getting MMS and Internet working with my Mio A701. For people who don't know about this phone it has Windows Mobile 5 as the operating system so it is very much like an MDA Compact III or Vario II in terms of menu structure.

I have got a program on the start menu called GPRS configurator which allows me to enter what network I am on. I can select T-Mobile UK but it won't connect to the internet or send MMS messages. Maybe it is because the settings are for a contract phone, I don't know.

The website is fairly helpful but I get stuck on a step for each item.

For setting internet settings they send you a message with a PIN in and tell you to enter it into a forthcoming "configuration message" But the configuration message never comes. Although to be fair maybe it is because my phone is not listed and I am using the settings for one of the Vario's

And on the MMS front I follow this document https://www.csp.t-mobile.net/rdm/selectServiceType.do;jsessionid=C723D57B94F10288B5 CCA1BEC7EC9012.rdm-ds34801a?serviceType=MMS

right down to number 4 on setting up your picture messaging profile, but can proceed no further as there is no "servers" tab on my options and I can only edit options for emails

Any help would be gratefully recieved

use the above link, It will take you to the settings for the vario as its windows mobile 5, as you stated same menu structure

Thanks for that. I managed to get the internet working, but again failed with the picture messages. Again the problem is that I don't seem to be able to select any settings from within the MMS folder within messaging. I'll try on a Mio specific forum to see if anyone there can help. The settings for internet are the same apart from the name of the profile for both internet and picture messages anyway.
