hi ,i had a number on pay as you go which i bought off ebay,i lost the sim and i emailed voda,i got a email back saying that if i bought a new sim card and registered it and then if i rang 191 i could get my old number back ,so i bought a new sim and then rang voda up and they are saying the number has been registered in a diffrent name and i cant get my number back .Is there anything i can do ?

Sorry No. If you don't use your PAYG for for 6 months the number goes into quaranteen for a while. During this period you can get it back. After that it is re-issued. Once this has happened that is the end of the matter.

Or does she mean the sim she bought of ebay was registered in another name?
If like DaveC then there is nothing you can do. :(

hey leogirl in either case the best thing to do as soon as you get a new number is call s191 straight away and register your name against it.
