USB adaptor for web n walk

Like a lot of customers I've been caught out in the middle of my contract when my laptop died and as we now know new ones don't come with a PCMIA slot for the PC card. I need a usb adaptor. I know they do them for new customers but I need to know the best way of getting one - I have 6 months contract left - any ideas? i'd be more than willing to resign to a new contract.

if the card is insured break it lol and make a claim from fonesafe pay your £30 excess and get the option of a new card

cust services couldn't do anything for me but cust relations sorted out a usb modem for price of postage as long as I signed up for another year (I ain't out of contract). great deal (especially as I am on the £19.99 deal!!!). how do you sign up for the insurance as it could be handy?

yes you can get insurance for the datacard within 14 days if brought instore or contact fonesafe direct they will require proof of purchase this will be your delivery note if brought via telesales.

The cost is £8.99 a month i think but as i no longer work for them this may have changed

I have the same problem - but todate have had no luck with customer ser. upgrades - they will only upgrade in the 11 month - and have 4 month of contract left - and cant use the card as i now have a UMPC/Mac. which is a pain..

Suksmo did you phone customer relations? or email.. I hope i can get something sorted out.

a telesales guy did mentiosn quite a few peole have had this problem - when thay have upgraded their laptops.
