View Full Version : Cannot connect to Web 'n' Walk with new Nokia N95

I've just got a new Nokia N95 and I am having two problems:

1. Web 'n' Walk does not work

I'm not able to connect to Web 'n' Walk and I get the error message:

'Packet Data: Pack Data not available. Check network services'.

Its trying to connect using 'T-Mobile Internet'. I've looked at the setting in Access Points for 'T-Mobile Internet' and they are:

Connection name: T-Mobile Internet
Data bearer: Packet Data
Access Point Name: general.t-mobile.co.uk
User name: t-mobile
Prompt password: ***
Authentication: Normal
Homepage: http:/www.t-mobile-favourites.co.uk

I've tried changing from 3G to GSM etc but still nothing.

2. WLAN Browsing

I do not think this is a T-Mobile specific issue so I've made a seperate posting in the Nokia forum:

I have a generic Nokia N95 with firmware:

v 10.0.018

RM-159
Nokia N95 (43.02)

I'm porting my number from Orange and the T-Mobile website does not recognise my temporary phone number as being valid. I'm not sure if this is related to my Web 'n' Walk issue.

Access point is wrong its: general.t-mobile.uk (no co)

Actually the setting is correct in my phone. I made a typo in my post. Anyway its all working now. 3 days later it looks like my account has finally registered.
