Windows mobile 6 upgrade on Vario 2??

Don't suppose anybody knows if T-Mobile will be offering a free upgrade to the new windows mobile 6 as HTC released this statement.

If you are not interested in the T-Mobile customisations XDA Developers do a couple of nice Win 6 Roms. My Vario is running the XDA Live Version at the moment.

would doing this invalidate any help or warrenty from Tmobile? like if you need to get settings from them, would they supply them because this is your own doing, upgrading?

and is XDA Live, windows 6.. are they the same thing..?

Windows live from XDA Developers is Windows 6. There are other versions out there including a black t-mobile one.
They are unofficial, so I don't know what happens to warranty, but asking for the settings is not a problem because they can be lost for a whole load of reasons.

sorry to be a newbie here but i have been looking for info on an upgrade opn the MDAV2 as the look of the current desktop looks exceptionally dated, although the phone does great things. Would you suggest this "black" version? i'm no developer but i know my way around these things, do you have anywhere i can read and download the "black" version, resetting the GPRS settings and my mail should be a breeze, would just like the upfdated version as i think it will solve a few bugs i have..

can someone tell me whats new on the windows mobile 6 rom, ive heard its faster,

does it come with the streamin media app (i only ask because I use tmobile tv)

does it also come with the internet sharing app or does it come with modem link,

Would appreciate a list of any other programs it comes with
