PAYG & Palm set up

Hi,

I'm trying to use my PAYG account to allow my palm top (Tx) to access the internet. The phone (Samsung D600) works fine for WAP but I cannot get the palm to connect without timing out (PPP timeout) during the signon phase.

I got the setting for the Palm from t-mobile but this still has not fixed the problem.

Can others use there PAYG account to connect to the internet with a palm or other mobile device.

May well be a modem driver problem. Palm seem to have given up on producing these.

I've been fighting to get this to work and was going to give up, but......

I decided to to let the palm try to set itself up automatically with the phone as a modem and tmobile GPRS as a network. This has failed every time I tried in the past saying that it was not an option. This time though it went through without putting in any settings information.

Tried to connect and call up google - success!!

So I now have a Tungsten Tx using a Samsung D600 on t-mobile PAYG for internet access over GPRS (added that bit for the seach engines as my biggest issues was knowing if this set up would work)
