I have just got a Vodafone 3g Broadband data card from ebay and i am having a problem installing it. Basically the software installs ok and the laptop restarts after instalation but when i am prompted to put the data card in after a few seconds i get a box come which says file missing "gtf32bus.sys file on globetrotter 3g+ instalation disk is needed".

Basically after the box comes up i cant do anything with the card as it isnt installing itself properly....Anyone got any solutions for this problem?

Its a bit strange as i have a normal voda 3g/gprs card with a pre pay sim and that works great but the 3g broadband card with the same sim wont work.

Thanks in advance

you can get these files off the t-mobile site - if you can't find them let me know as I have them - not promising it will work though - I can't get it to install on a Sony Picturebook

Hi

Can anyone help me?!

I am trying to install the Vodafone connect software on my laptop (hp Compaq nx6310) to use a 3G Broadband Data Card. The installation appears to work fine up until, during the "Create Profile" process, I insert the Data Bard into the PCMIAICAMSPAPSIAIPAIMAIA (!) slot. At this point, I then have both the red and the blue lights on the 3G card flashing together, double-pulsing at intervals of around 2 secs. I cant move further with the create profile process.

Perhaps there is a problem with the Data Card?

Notes: This card used to work on this laptop, but my laptop was recently wiped, hence my trying to re-install the software.

Please help, Vodafone support are totally useless!

That's what is happening to mine - I'll try it in another laptop that it used to work on to check it out - you're right about Vodafone support - there's more information on here.......
