o2 direct is saying that they have received the n95 stock but they are still testing the phone to make sure they dont have any software problem.

i was told that they would be dispatched within 2 weeks but most probably after the 11th..

anyone working for o2 out there? im going on holiday on the 11th. do you think there is any possibility that they would be ready before that date?

cheers

:)

edit: do you also know if it will come with a microsd card at all?

Hi Cheekygirl, Im currently out of contract with O2 and wanting to upgrade to an N95. I was going to do it this week but heard about the rumoured upcoming changes in tariffs which might include decent data bundles (ie similar to T mob Web&Walk), do you know anything about this that you can share? If its true I'll hold out a few weeks rather than get tied into a non data contract.

the phone is currently out of stock and advice is that we r not going to recieve any more until the end of may but the interest in the n95 looks as if as soon as they come in stock, they will go straight back out. so get orders in now

yeah there is a new data tarriff with 20mb of browsing for £8 per month, also if you want mostly browsing then there is an unlimited data tarriff using blackberry connectivity on the business deals £10 inc VAT its the best data o2 have

Thanks for the replies guys, Im quite disappointed O2 haven't taken the opportunity to launch some competitve data packages to compete with T Mobile / Three, 20Mb for £8 (I thought it was £10?) doesn't really compare when the others offer a gigabyte for less money, or even Orange's evenings / weekend's data package, and as I want to be able to browse without worrying if Ive gone over my limit, 20Mb isn't enough so I seriously doubt I'll be renewing with O2 :(

If they bring out something competitive (i.e over 1Gb "unlimited" data for under £10) then I for one will probably return as they are one of the only networks in my area who have half decent coverage to allow me to pick up calls at home, but for now I'm off.
