Not happy at all with vodaphone. Ive had problems with my contract phone ever since i had it, its been repaired by Vodaphone and also privatly. I got water damage on my uninsured contract phone last week, fair enough my fault, but it was only a splash, not like i dropped it in a bucket of water! I phoned & emailed Vodaphone to see if there was anything they can do? I spoke to several people on my first attempt, and was told that i could choose a phone and they would give it to me reduced, that sounds good enough and i was happy with that! I was told to phone back to state my choosen phone, i did so the next day and after explaing myself to 6 people i finally found somebody who knew what i was talking about! The lady who i was talking to was nice and sympathtic of my situation, and offered to give me a free phone (next day delivery), to reduce my monthly payments from £30 to £20, and a free 1gb memory card.
There it was the next day at my door, brilliant i thought! (But no memory card!) Later on in the day as i was checking my emails i came across an unopened email from Vodaphone replying to the one that i had sent previously about my damaged phone, they said they had checked my account and and that an advisor had opened up another account, which would mean i would be paying for 2 accounts which would be £50 a month. I was not aware of this situation and the "nice lady" on the phone did not tell me that there would be 2 accounts adding up to £50. I phoned Vodaphone straight away and was again passed on to another person one of which told me i would have to send the phone back, which then i would have no phone at all. They were not very helpfull at all and did not seem intersted in my problem. In the end i agreed to the origanal deal, a reduced phone. I am really dissapointed with Vodaphone, i have been a loyal customer, but i will not be staying with them once my contract is over.

Hi Ragdoll
Very sorry to hear the the problems your having, I work for Vodafone and will be able to help.
As your problem is account specific, we will need to see you account to sort this out for you. The most secure way of giving us the informatin we need is to go to www.vodafone.co.uk, then contact us. You will then be able to send us an email. If you include FIT135 in the body of the text, it will be picked up by a team who monitor the public forums and will be able to help.

Sorry to hear that Ragdoll, When you receieved the new phone that came without the Memory Card, Was there no terms with the letter or new SIM card you had to put into the phone? Sometimes people argue the case, Yet they have confirmation in writing or a new SIM which surely should send the questions out "Why have I got a new SIM Card, Whats wrong with my current one"
Not that I'm saying whats happened is right, But I'd be surprised if VF sent you a second line without T's & C's

In reply to your to your note, yes i did recive a new sim card and i did think that was strange, but i had no idea of that other account, so i thought maybe it might be a replacement of my current sim? I didnt recive a letter so obviously there was no T & C's. I hope that answers your curiosity! Ragdoll.
Sounds like an admin error to me, Either that or the person who's sold you this second line was on "Commission" and just decided not to tell you of the second line, But even then if that was the case I cant believe there was no T&C's sent out to you
I'd get onto Vodafone ASAP, Get that second SIM Cancelled & Its up to you wether you want to stay with them, I'd assess your options and see what they can offer you from your original query
Good luck with it :D

Why am I not surprised, Vodafone is full of fibbers, people who say what ever it takes to get you off the phone. People, who do not stick to what they say. If you ring up, you get a different story each time.
They are by far amongst the worst, I have dealt with. Worse then orange, that takes some doing.

Well problems again!!!! A couple of days after i received the phone i had a guy knocking on my door to collect it! I didn't give it to him, as i agreed to pay for it, so there i was again straight on the phone. Again after speaking to a few useless advisors, one man told me that the other contract HAD NOT been cancelled! Even though they told me that it was, and that they had nothing on there computers to prove that they were giving me a reduced phone, and they now wanted £300 for it, after speaking to more people, one lady said she would phone me back, when shes spoke to somebody else. Within a hour she did and she told me that it was their mistake and that i could have the phone once again, reduced. I think because i put up a fight and that i wasn't prepared to be fobbed off by some useless advisor, they gave up, and did admit to their faults. So people fight your corners, hopefully you will finally get somewhere. So now as far as i am aware I'm on £30 a month contract and the reduced price of my new phone will be spread over 2 bills, so we will soon see if it will be actually right this time!!!! fingers crossed. I still wont be staying with Vodaphone, and i will not recommend them to anybody.
