Vodafone Service

Well, I am with Vodafone Pay Monthly.

My service at the minute, or should I say has been terrible.

Well, anywho, on my main screen on my phone it says;

"Vodafone UK"

When I try to phone out, it makes a "beeping noise" that I am not allowed to phone out or something. Also, it won't send text messages either, when I go to do that, it says "Message Sending Failed" then it puts it in my "Outbox" so that I can maybe send it off later.

At other times, on the main screen, it would say "No Access to Network", then it would go back to normal and would let me squeeze out one text message.

I know my account hasn't been suspended because the sim card would say "Sim not in use" as it has been twice beforehand.

I checked the Online Coverage in the UK, and fished out my Postcode to see what the coverage was like. It says its fine, well to my knowledge, I might have done it wrong.

Anyone else having the same bad service either today or before with Vodafone??

I work for Vodafone and we can get this checked out for you. There can be a number of factors involved, e.g. if your SIM and handset is updating on the network, is there a site problem in your area, is their a fault with the switch that your mobile number is linked to. Many of these factors are account / number specific, meaning they're best investigated securely through customer services.

Vodafone do have a team who monitor feedback on public internet forums, so if you wanted to get in touch then it's possible by going to www.vodafone.co.uk, selecting 'contact us' then 'email', leaving the short-code FIT165 in the body of the email (this code makes sure the email gets routed through to the above team). You might also want to include a link to this thread in your email. Other information that would be helpful for our technical team to investigate would be:

- Make and model of handset
- Location and post code
- Specific error messages displayed on the handset / heard when making calls
- Time and date the problem started
- Is it possible to receive incoming calls
