Late txts

I am on vodafone my partner is on o2, when we txt there are a few hours before the txt reach either of our phones if at all. we have tried changing our mobiles but still the same thing happens. iv heard a few others complain about the time its taking for txts to reach another person and at the moment im considering switching to o2, the only thing holding me back is that i have been a loyal customer of vodafone for roughly 8 years. can anyone else tell me if they have had this problem. i always have full signal.

I take it neither of you have problems with late texts to and from other people?

Have you tried asking both companies about the problem?

nope I use Voda payg off peak ( o2 contract peak ) so personal/business calls are sorted and Voda never gave me a problem with delays?

Dunno? but id leave a company not delivering part my service agreement

i do have problems with other peoples messages being recieved aswell. my dad said his is worse if he doesnt have a signal when a txt comes through it takes over a day to reach his phone and its just no use. i always have a good signal in the majority of places so i just dont get it. iv changed to o2 now and txt have been really fast and i have full signal everywhere.
my mum said vodafone are popular and it may just be slower going to another network because of the huge demand for vodafone.
