they ill still upgrade you early if you say you have had a fantastic offer elsewhere, I always upgrade at least 2-3 months early and always got a awesome package to boot too!
Depends what sort of a spender you are, but all customers will still have some form of retention offer

Vodafone told me, 4th of April also. They won't take pre-orders since they can't put your order through until their system shows them as having stock. I have been advised to pre-order at a Voda shop, they will do this for a £20 deposit, which obviously you will get back once you get the phone. Also you can upgrade TWO months before your contract is due to run out.
My bill over the last six months has been between £60-100, usually nearer £60 though, will I get a good deal on the phone?

if not move to another provider, i personaly think that voda sucks big time compared to other products. the phone will be widelay available in most if not all network providers. i cant remember a time where i was soo excited about a launch for a particular phone!

Anyone got any idea how much Vodafone is going to charge them? They said to me today I'd be looking at £75-£100 on an 18 month contract, probabaly double that on a 12 month one.

Another thought I have on the most expensive Vodafone tariff, it is £40 a month for 500 mins and unlimited texts. Last time I asked them about data charges they said data and text allowances were counted as one. So if I was on a unlimted text plan, WOULD I have unlimited data allowance?

Only problem for me with T-mobile is the coverage is crappy round where I live and work. Also I am on a free contract with them at the moment, which I re-signed for 12 months last sunday. I wonder if I can call them back and cancel then re-sign up with them when the phone is out?

what do u mean free contract? and is that with t-mob or voda ur talkin about?

T-mob, I was with them for years and went to voda, I called t-mob up to cancel my contract and they offered me a basic 300 off peak mins and 30 texts, with a discount so I don't pay anything a month. So I agreed and just kept it as a bak up phone. I re-signed this deal on sunday.

i see, well see if u can get that cancelled n just open a new contract with t-mob on flexT35...or is the coverage RLY that bad? which is worse? voda or the coverage? lol

Voda coverage is great, t-mobile isn't. I get 2-3 bars on t-mob, that is on a regular ohone, so I am thinking I won't even get a 3g signal here :S Voda has 3g full strengh and I can get a signal anywhere.
I was thinking with Voda, could I sign a new deal as a new customer and then cancel my old contract? Old contract is due to run out on the 27th of April.

Last year someone I knew was on T-Mobile (2G) and there are multiple blackspots in various shops in and around birmingham etc.
When I was out shopping with them, I was continuely lending them my phone (on Orange!).

T-mobile has always been really bad up north for me. I got my first phone with them back when they were one2one, ten or so years ago. Free weekend calls all for £10 a month, it was great :D Still got the phone somewhere, think it is at my parents house, a huge nokia.

Was a great phone, that got dropped down a flight of concrete stairs and was undamaged, infact I think it chipped the stairs! You couldn't even send texts in those days and when you finally could I could only send them to other one2one customers :S Had to pay £1 a month to have texts too.

I think I will go into the Vodaphone shop tomorrow, pre-order a N95 and ask if I can start a new contract. That shouldn't be a problem should it? I will either tell them I plan to end my current contract with them or play it sneaky and tell them I want two separate contracts at the same time.

Well I went into my local(ish) Vodafone shop and slapped a £20 deposit down for the N95. I asked the guy how many had pre0ordered and he said "a fair few" , but also told me a lot of people will be put off by the price. He went on to say that there is no way anyone will get a free upgrade, even him who spends 80-90 a month. I asked him if it woud be better starting a new contract and he said it would definitely be the best way.
