hi
i have been working for t-mobile retail since june last year. now that the discount is back i want to get a new line with my discount on it however my manager is saying that i have to wait for one year until i can get my discount put on... the last i heard was you had to be working with the company for for 3 months!
i think he is chattin sh*t!!
can anyone confirm to me if there is any truth in what my managers saying...

he is wrong, you can get a new line and put it on your friends & family starightaway.
i did it last week when the w880i came into store.

thats right mate, you can get your new contract from any store and ring friends & family (08454-122-143) and put your new line on for the discount.
your store manager is 'WRONG'.......

Hello, I am an assistant manager and have been with T mobile for over 2 years coming up to 3 years and your manager sounds like he is lying maybe to use your friends and family. I would just try and get a line and put your discount on and just say you was suprised it was allowed on.

i suppose you could do that, but it's best to put the discount on straightaway. save yourself some money.....:D

Hi, I have a friend who works for Asda and is eligible for the discount from T-mobile. Does anyone know the number for the Advantage Plan and what are the things they require to put the discount on? Thanks.

You need to contact your h.r. dept. They should provide you with contact details etc.

I work for ASDA too, but the pathetic disgraceful bunch of waster skinflints havn't put it in this year's benefits book. I rang the number (0808 *** ****) and they said that ASDA had stopped it.
The one sodding decent benefit that they offer and they've stopped it. I was really looking forward to joining T-Mobile too. They probably wern't paying ASDA enough comission as there is a different phone offer in there now. That all the benefits book is to ASDA - a chance to make money out of the staff.
Anyway, rant over - could any kind person who is in the know tell me what other companies are on the plan as It's a lot better than anything that any of the other guys like dial-a-phone offer

hi, i have got a tmobile advantage plan for 2 years now. I phoned tmobile up and asked them if i could get a free upgrade and they say no because you have an advantage plan. I have phoned several times and they still say no. Can you please tell me when i will be available for a free phone upgrade.

the friends and family discount is for t-mobile employees only. independent dealers would not be able to get this discount. it's limited to 5 discounts per employee, per year.
i know the number but i wont post it. you would have to give relevant info in order to get the discount and as a independent dealer you wont have it.

Indepenant dealers also get discount (50%) there is a number for indi dealers too.

lolz £50 I dont think anyone will give you a discount for that much! If you realise how much you save in the whole 12/18 the offer you gave is insulting! I would never sell the discount far better to give it to a close friend or relative that you know wil benefit the discount! I just wish customers would not offend our staff with stupid offers on this forum!

Hi can anyone help me I was working for T Mobile last year and had my phone on friends and family for the last year this has been great.
unforutantely my direct debit did not go through last month and my friends and family has been taken off my account they have told me to reactivate it that I need to get a staff member to call and re activate it as i cannot do this myself. Any one that is willing to help can recive a free holistic treatment. I only have 5 months left on the contract and it is obviously worth while for me to have this done. if you can do this great I would much appreciate it thankin you. :)
