So i am on an 18month contract, thats ok its what i chose. I get 300 minutes and 100 texts, could do with a bit more. What i cant have is bills of £175 because vodafone "forgot" to turn on my stop the clock".
My concern was raised that over two months i had bills of £175 and £145. Vodafone apologised and offered me a £10 credit !!!!!. So because of their error i am well over £200 out of pocket and i get a £10 credit. I suggested that they were mistaken and they must have missed a few zero's of the credit and was then offered a credit of line rental for February. I have explained that i would like the minutes back but so far my e-mails have been ignored. I phoned andasked if i could pay more and get some more minutes and was told i could, but only in my last month of contract !!!Since taking out this contract i have a 3g phone that wont make 3g calls to anyone else whatever their network, picture messaging that does not work all the time and at silly prices, a phone (nokia n70) that people cannot connect to (i am self employed and this is my business number) despite having full service, customer service that wont reply to e-mails. Latest mail i sent explained the above and that as they wont reply i should cancel my account at the first oppertunity. Still no reply..... They got my money, i am in for the duration, as the number is on my cards and van i need a pac code so just cant get another phone and after reading these threadsi am nowworried that i wont get my pac so easily. Just a bit angry and annoyed..........

follow on.........20th Feb 07
I have just been talking to customer services and all i can say is WELL DONE to both people that helped me today.
I wont go into details about what was done but, Phone answered after one ring, they were very polite, they were very very helpful and went further than i was expecting in dealing with my account. My faith has been restored and i defy anyone to behave in a more professional, polite and helpful way.
Well Done Vodafone, give everyone the training you have given these guys......

Hi Willow152

Sorry to read of the problems your currently having with Vodafone.

I work for Vodafone and would be happy to help.

We would need to see your account to find out exactly what is going on, and to help resolve your problems for you. If you want to contact us, if you go to www.vodafone.co.uk, then contact us, you'll be able to send us an email. If you include FIT135 in the body of the text, it will be routed to a team who monitor the public forums.

Once we've recieved the information, we'll be able to have a look and to offer an explanation and correct the issues you have.

Hi willow152

I can only apologise for what has happened so far with Customer Services and other parts of the company.
When you include FIT135 in the body of the text, it gets routed through to a specific team, who monitor public forums.

i will say that i was very angry when i wrote the origional post the other night. I am more angry with myself than vodafone because i did not open my bills and check them.
Lets see if the customer service can be a bit more help with explanations etc.....

Missed it out the email sorry, but can you include FIT135 in any responses you send to us as well?

Thanks

And so it turns out to be a load of rubbish. It seems that, polite and professional as they were, i have been conned. I was upgraded early. I was told i did not want to be on an 18 month contract to which the reply was that i will be charged for the phone to which i agreed. The fee for the phone however was to be waived if i took out a 30 day sim only contract, again which i agreed. Imagine my despair now to find that i am on an 18 month contract and as usual there is nothing i can do to get this corrected by the crap customer service who just keep quoting the same old rubbish over and over.
I have been had over by vodafone and i will never trust a verbal agreement with a mobile company again. I take back what i said about being helpfull. Just a bunch of liars who have tricked me into a 20 month contract.

Hi Willow152

The offer to email us using the FIT135 that we gave you in February is still open. If you use the code, the email is routed to a team who monitor the public forums, instead of Customer Services.
