I have entered someone's details in my MDA (model no. HERM300) contacts database.
I wish to EMAIL these as a vCard (or equivalent) to someone else.
NOTE: I do have email working perfectly on the MDA.
My problem is that when I select the option to send as a vCard, it always tries to send as an MMS ..... why I don't know, as I want to send to an email address - so I would have thought sending as an email attachment would be better.
So what I want to know .... is how to email(not MMS) contact details, presumably as a vCard but not necessarily so, to another email address. Can this be done?
However, I can't figure out this ...... and so for now I'm forced to use MMS instead .... except it doesn't work!
Whenever I select "Send" it fails saying MMS is in "Flight Mode" or some such error message.
What on earth is "Flight Mode"? Why is this relevant to trying to send a vCard?
What do I need to do to get this phone out of "Flight Mode"???
PS: I really want to send the vCard by email - not MMS - so I'm only concerned with this Flight Mode issue if email can't be used.
