Hi,

Im sure we have all done the euro to pounds conversion to find that the n95 will be £370 at release.

Im hoping it will be that cheap, but i suspect Kompletts pricing to be a little more accurate at £449.

Check it out yourselves... http://www.komplett.co.uk/k/search.asp?q=n95

I have contacted both vendors and they have said those prices are only initial prices and are likely to change once stock is in. Expect the initial release price to be somewhere in between the 2 prices you have quoted.

Eventually the N95 should drop to around £370.

Just seen this page here (http://www.mobileshop.com/mobile-phones/latest-new-handsets.php) and if you scroll down to the Nokia N95 - it's listing it as free on contract when released? Mobileshop are pretty good as I've had a phone from them before, so if this is the case, then great!

Im sure it will be free on certain contracts from most if not all vendors but i wouldnt expect it to be free from anything less than £45 per month.

I agree with you bavlondon. I remeber when the N80 came out on orange it was not free unless you paid £55 on an 18 month contract

Well we still dont know yet. Remember the screen on the n95 isnt as high res as the n80s (and this as well as Nokia supposedly using cheaper materials have given rise to rumors that it will sell for cheap) even though its bigger.

In any case this will be expensive to start with on both contract and sim free but if you look at how fast the n93 dropped down in price im sure this will aswell all in good time.

Yes bavlondon, it's always better to wait a few weeks especially when you are buying sim free

Hi,

When i posted this, Im sure that bothe colours were the same price, £449.

Now it seems the sand coloured one is £40 more.

Did anyone else notice this price difference?

(PS- beggining to like the plum one more now!!!)

Quite ridiculous that they charge 40 quid more for the sand... the plumb is ok, and besides its not like the sand is a limited edition or somethin... Nokia has some issues with the colors, why couldn it just be a standard black or silver rather then the somewhat ugly sand or plumb.... We just don't see it ugly because the phone is a beauty

I got my N80 free from orange when it 1st came out on a 12 month contract :) You have to call a orange sales rep direct...
