Could anyone confirm or otherwise that the Danger Sidekick 3 now available in the UK can be used for Internet Banking.

I have had conflicting information.

In Store say that it can be done because it goes via the Danger server.

First Direct say "We do not currently support a connection to internet banking via this device as we have not tested it with our systems. Internet banking is designed to be used on a computer based system that supports the use of high security along with Java Script programming. If the Sidekick device 3 offers this level of technology, you may be able to access the service. However, in the event of any problems or difficulties, we are unable to offer any technical solutions."

I am looking to buy one of these devices if it does supoort Internet Banking.

Thanks for your help.

It depends on your bank. There's no way of telling until you've tried it. I can access one bank account on my phone, but not another. On an older phone I had it was the other way round.
My advice? Order one off the web, try it and if it doesn't work, then use the 7 day distance selling regulation to return the phone.
