the pearl is good for W+W but remember you have to have the blackberry feature enabled on your t-mobile account in order to use W+W

this will cost you en extra £5-10 a month.

not a lot of people know this and there has been a terrible amount of users mislead at the point of sale, typically down to a lot of outlets not knowing this as well i must add.

all phoning up wondering why they cant use their W+W on the phone.

the blackberry feature has to be added to use W+W

One of my collegues has a Pearl. Whilst it's fantastic for email, web browsing isn't that hot to be honest.
It's only GPRS for a start, and whilst the pages do load in fantastic quality, it takes ages for them to load in the first place!
If you want something with good web browsing and push email it might be worth looking at the MDA Vario II or the Nokia E61.

The E61 and E50 use the same web browsers, but the E50 isn't 3G, so you'd have the slow connection problem again.

Hi there.

I was wondering if you can help me.

I'm about to purchase BB Pearl 8100. Now I know that out-there there are plenty people that offer unlocking services - which is fine cause you can use different SIM card.

My question is: if for example phone is locked in Vodafone and you unlock it in order to use it with T-Mobile SIM card, can you use T-mobile e-mail service, or the phone needs also to be de-branded?

I look forward to hear from you guys.

Thanks
