I have an MDA Vario-II, and I have received a voice message, which of all things is showing up in my [3rd-party] email inbox, but is shown as coming from a landline telephone number.
(By "3rd party" email, I mean that I have configured my own POP3/SMTP email account on the MDA.)
When I try to play the .wav file (158K in size), Windows Media errors me saying that the "audio format is not supported".
Also, When I speed-dial 1 to get my mailbox, I am told that I have no new messages .... and there is no option to listen to previous messages. So I can't listen to this message at all!!!!
QUESTIONS
1. How do I get this format "supported"? ie. how do I download and install additional codecs for .wav files.
2. How do I get to listen to previously received messages that have been downloaded to my inbox?
3. Why on earth would a voice mail message from another phone end up in my email inbox anyway????
Any thoughts anyone?
Merry Christmas ... especially to anybody who can answer all three questions :D
