Flext 25% off discount

Hi,

I am looking to get either the SE K800i or the N73 on the Flext 35 tarrif.
I know the Flext 35 is normally £35 a month, but with the current offer of up to 25% off it is £30 a month.
In one of the T-Mobile brochures it says that the 25% discount is only up until the end of December, but on the website it says
"Offer available from 1st September to 31st January 2007"
This is in the November brochure, i havnt got the December one yet, but i take it that is has been updated.
Have they extended this to January now?
If they have then it will be good, as i am waiting for the Friend's and Family ban to be lifted, so that my friend can put me onto it.

as far as we know, for retail stores, it finishes 31st dec. the online deals are different.

I'm not at work today but I'm 99% convinced the discount offer has been extended to 31st January 2007 - check the intranet.

Yeh its £5 off the Flext 35 tarrif.
It just says in the brochure up to 25% off them monthly charge, but i think that is based on the Flext 20 tarrif.

Is anyone able to confirm whether the discount will finish at the end of December or if it will be continued till the end of January, if buying from the contract from a T-mobile shop.

as far as we know, it's 31st december for t-mobile retail. if you buy from the website it's 31 january 2007.

Oh, ok do you know if T-mobile is planning on bringing out any new offers or other new discounts in January?
I take it in January the prices will go back up to normal.

The 25% extension to 31st January 2006 applies to Tmobile Retail stores as well - I checked in work yesterday.

Don't know if the discount is in the brochure but the discount is still on until the end of the month.

the new flext tariffs will be available on 12 month contracts. the existing flext tariffs are 18 month contracts but you get £5 off your line rental for the whole duration of the contract.

if you upgrade at the end of the 18 months, you lose the discount.

depends what you want, 12 or 18 month contract?

Glad to help. The £5 discount will finish on 31st jan for retail stores. I'm not sure about direct, because they are offering 3 months free WnW. But i think their deals will change as well due to the new flext tariffs from the 1st feb.

What is meant by upgrade? Is it a tarrif upgrade or handset upgrade?
For example, if i bought a new 18 month Flext 35 contract with the £5 off discount, and after 18 months i wanted to upgrade the handset for a new one, keeping the same tarrif and number etc, would i loose the £5 discount? Or do i keep paying the same price including my £5 off? unless ofcourse T-Mobile make changes to the Flext Tarrifs.

if at the end of the 18 months you upgrade, you will get a new handset but will lose the 5 pound discount. or carry on the same tariff etc but no new phone, you will then retain the discount.

Aww thats crap.
Is that the same if you are on a Friends & Family tarrif too? If you upgrade then you lose the discount?

The friends & family is a discount on your contract tariff. The discount is permanent for life. Even if you upgrade, you still retain it.
