hi i just brought a sony ericsson k510i from a friend but its locked to vodafone and i was wonderin if anyone knew a way to unlock it with like a code or software.i have a usb cable for it.ive searched through tons of sites and have been on kingmobilephone.com and seen it can be done but still dont have a clue how to do it.any help will be appreciated cheers.

Two main ways of doing this phone.
1. By downloading free software and then purchasing a special cable and unlock code.
2. By taking it to a mobile repair / unlocking shop in your locality.
Personally, I would go for number 2. Cost you in the region of £5-£10

hi yeh i did take it to the local one in town but he said the bloke that does it isnt in for a while and thats about the only place in town that does it
