hi

I currently work in the sales deparment at Orange North Tyneside, ive been there 3 years and done really well earning 24 k if i count my bonus. I have some serious concerns at the moment and am being treat rather badly by a new manager. I had an interview with T Mobile in doxford and was offered a job on the retentions team starting in december.
I have several main concerns

1. Im worried about if it really is possible for me to ern the same kind of comission i was getting at orange on averrage 600 notes and months.

2. Another thing im a bit worried about is a porky i told T mobile they asked if i ever had a disaplinary and i said no because i was sure one i got last year was off my record. But after checking at work it wont be removed until january. Im worried that they will find out about this and sack me once i started. Its only a verbal for a acusation by a customer that could not be proved.

I tried to give my notice in to orange yesterday and they told me they wanted me to stay and would even move me to a new team. I have had some real good times at orange and would like to stay but im really concerned about the company and the way its treating its staff recently. One main issue i have is that any chance of progression is clearly given out to people in the clicque and not on merit at all. I really would like to become a manager in the next year, i cant see it happening at orange, but then im worried if at t mobile it will be like starting all over again.

Can anyone offer any advice?

cheers

hi there,

i work for t-mobile, i've been with the company now for a year and enjoy working with them. you can make good commission if you do your targets etc. some months i have made 2k gross.

there are always opportunities for progression. you are recognised for the hard work you do.

i'm sure you will enjoy it at t-mobile.
