3 new phones on the way for 3

3 have comfirmed they have 3 new phone coming out over the next few months.
The only details they are revealing at the moment are, that one of them is going to be a Motorola presumeably this will be the a835, which will be avail over the next 3 to 4 weeks time.

They are planning on releasing 1 more in september and another in october.
I'm hoping that 1 of these phones will be the SonyEricsson Z1010
but who knows how 3 think.

This is the best info we have :

Motorola A920 = 1st September
Motorola 835 = End September
NEC e616 = Mid October
Motorola A925 = November

All above 2003 but as you know it is always difficult for mobile operators to achieve target launch dates and particulary so with 3 as this is new techno etc etc.

What about the Nokia6650? Nokia supplied a lot of Three's infrastructure, so surely they should also ship a Nokia handset which is now available to Telcos in quantity...

As the handset is readily available, I think we have to assume that 3 have taken the active decision not to take the phone at this point.

Its features do look a little basic, even compared to their current handsets.

Don't suppose you could supply me with some info on the new moto a835? I currently have the e606 and am not too happy with it.

Can't say I'm happy with 3 services, but if I can't get out of the contract I would like to try and get a better phone.

I just got My A920 yesterday and so far I'm gobsmacked!! not too sure if this was the right forum to voice my opinions but is there any one else who has this phone?

I got mine's directly from 3 from their flagship store on Talk 750 for an astonishing price!!...I'm not going to tell you but I think the guy messed up the price!! I'm thoroughly pleased and the features are extensive! The box came packed with an abundance of extras including a desktop cahrger, spare battery and a plethora of other goodies.

I can't seem to put it down as I'm totally besotted with it and my wife is starting to feel neglected!!:p If anyone has any feedback let me know please. Thanx :)

the release dates for the new moto's and nec's is if everything goes to plan, but the timescales are about right.

3 do plan in bringing in other handset providers like Nokia and SonyE but that wont be till next year.

The Moto A835 is a cracking phone the bluetooth WORKS and infa red does too it is an amazin phone we have 100 slides on it at customer services so will be able to ask most questions if you give us a call
