It is a great phone -- has all the goodies I was looking for. :cheeky:
Expansion is with micro-SD, not mini-SD like the specs above say. Was able to transfer files with Bluetooth from a Mac Mini no problem. Haven't tried a PC yet, but the connectivity suite (free download) looks to have a lot of functionality. :)
Headphone quality excellent, but the wired headset tangles up way too easily. Voice recognition spotty.
Have gotten reliable GRPS connections in my area, but haven't seen EGPRS (EDGE) yet.
Keys are flat, not a great feel to them, but OK. Backlighting adequate, would have preferred something other than deep blue. FM works good, but wired headphones need to be plugged in.
Screen is QVGA, blows away just about any other flip-phone display.
External screen has a minor bug, where the digital time display jumps around, sometimes to the top where it's hard to read.
Phone rates an A+ for all the features they managed to cram in there.
Contruction seems a little delicate, rough handling could destroy the thing. One-hand flip open operation is nice.
The video recorder and 1.3-megapixel camera feature an 8x zoom. Supporting multiple audio formats including MP3, AAC, AAC+ and eAAC+, the Nokia 6133 also can store approximately 750 songs on an optional 1 GB hot-swappable microSD memory card. So u can put a lot of music into this phone and enjoy them everywhere.
:)
As there are so many audio formats in the market, it's inevitable to meet with the audio converting problems .So a good selection is important.Xilisoft Audio Converter is a good choice, which provides an easy and completed way to convert between all of the popular audio formats. I have used it many times, and it provides one trial edition ,too. Here is the link (http://www.xilisoft.net/audio-converter.html) to download
USB was a disappointment, you have to buy a proprietary cable separately, not even listed by T-Mob yet. I would have preferred a mini-USB, and a standard headphone jack, but you use the special port on the top for both. Don't know if it charges from the USB or not. Bluetooth transferred files at about 70 kby/sec, so filling up a big memory card isn't practical that way.
Battery is tiny, both physically and capacity-wise. Figure maybe two days in normal use, quite a comedown from 10 days with my ancient Nokia. Surfing the web on the phone is as painful as you'd expect, can't wait to get it all set up with a laptop.
Overall, give the phone 9.5 out of 10. Audio quality is really good, reception seems good. More features than you'll ever learn to use.
If it were a bit heftier, bigger battery, standard jacks, it would be off the scale 1-10.
